"This is an izakaya I visited during my trip to Brisbane. I had the spicy sashimi don, which was fresh, generous in portion, and reasonably priced . They have weekday special menus, so check their Instagram and plan your visit accordingly. Hot pot dishes were all delicious too, and the staff were very friendly! I’ll definitely come back next time."

"3.5/5, the skewers, karaage chicken curry and udon are very good, but the spicy sashimi don tastes like a big bowl of gochujang. The okonomiyaki was the most un-okonomiyaki thing I’ve ever had. Exxy for the food but I guess normal price for izakaya"

"Wow wow wow wow wow. This place is amazing. It’s so good to have a quality restaurant open late. The food was fantastic and the spicy sashimi salad literally blew my mind and my tastebuds!! Gyoza too were just perfect as was everything. The selection of saki went perfectly with the food. I’m just so impressed with the place can’t wait to go again tomorrow."

"Located in a quite secluded section on Elizabeth Street. The yakitori and sashimi is really good. The volcano bomb is somewhat spicy but delicate. Their staff is also very friendly. It’s kind of cozy to settle in. I would recommend this izakaya restaurant."

The updated interior looks fantastic and really enhances the authentic izakaya atmosphere. The dishes seem even more refined and beautifully presented than before, and I loved seeing new vegetarian and gluten-free options on the menu. It’s clear that the restaurant is making a great effort to cater to a variety of guests. Most importantly, the food is just as delicious as ever—if not even better!
